Liam and Will catch up on the current state of their Mets apathy and also discuss NBA and NHL free agency and 2019-2020 seasons for both leagues. It’s good to be back bad.
In part 1 of the finale of The Bad Guys Pod, detectives Jarrett Seidler and Jeffrey Paternostro of Baseball Prospectus are brought in for an interrogation as Liam and Will try to get to the bottom of the Jeff McNeil and Robert Gsellman cases. Time is a flat 6.
The guys check in a little fatigued, but talk Mets Hot Stove. Robinson Cano and Noah Syndergaard trades are discussed, but also the 2005 White Sox rotation for some reason. The bad guys are here to pay are dues to Anthony Bourdain, but mainly to send off horrible GM’s Bryan Colangelo and Garth Snow. They do their best to pretend like the Mets don’t exist while kicking back beer and a shot deals. After recording, the guys run into Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty, Community) and have the best off air episode off all time. You should’ve been there.
They guys get right into their interview with BP writer and the spiritual godfather of the pod Jarrett Seidler. Everything is discussed; from WFAN and A-Rod, to combat sports and wrestling. By the time you finish listening to this episode, the MLB offseason might finally be underway.
